Two powerful AC traction motors, a robust design free of unnecessary plastic components and a very short wheelbase distinguish CLARK's GTX range . Suitable for all uses thanks to a solid "built to last" construction concept and a well-designed operator compartment.

Operator compartment

Convenient access to the ergonomic operator's compartment is facilitated by a wide step positioned close to the ground, as well as a convenient handle located on the driver's side overhead guard column. The rubber floor of the pedal compartment provides excellent foot support in all conditions.

The tiltable steering column and comfortable, adjustable seat provide maximum legroom, allowing optimal adjustment for any driver.

The driving pedals are arranged in the automotive manner to avoid any confusion. The fully directional levers have smooth movement for precise control, and are positioned at the right height to allow easy grip and a secure hold. All essential operating data are shown in real time on the bright TFT LCD color display.

Three individually programmable operating modes (economy-normal-power), combined with the additional slow-motion function, allow the vehicle to be optimally adapted to the relative operating situation. Complementing the remarkable operator compartment are easily accessible storage compartments, as well as an equally conveniently accessible handbrake lever and emergency shut-off knob.

Engines, traction and electronic system

Two powerful 4.4 kW AC traction motors with the current 48Volt three-phase technology ensure excellent acceleration and high performance. The maintenance-free AC motors ensure minimal operating costs.

The temperature of the motors and the system are constantly monitored and automatically adjusted to prevent exceeding the limits imposed by design.

The ZAPI DUAL AC control system is equipped with modern MOSFET and CAN bus technology and is located high up in the counterweight, in a safe and protected position but also easily accessible. Motor and system temperature control instruments thus protect your investment

Braking system

Three independent braking systems (electric, pedal and parking brake) provide increased efficiency and high safety through better utilization of battery capacity. Operating and parking brakes, with fully oil-insulated multiple discs in an oil bath, provide consistent braking performance under all conditions.

Energy recovery brakes send energy back to the battery during each braking action. This process saves energy costs, reduces brake wear, and extends driving time per battery charge.

When the direction of travel is changed through operation of the direction lever, the electronics ensure smooth braking and 'progressive acceleration in the new direction of travel. Fully insulated service brakes are protected from dust, moisture and aggressive particles. Operation in harsh environmental conditions is therefore possible without any problems.

The standard ramp start function allows control of truck operation on slopes and accurate use on loading platforms.

Steering system

The steering angle of 101° allows the GEX four-wheeler to turn almost in place, similar to a three-wheeled cart. Even in the extreme steering position, a smooth start and control of the cart is ensured by the independent control of the front wheels.

Depending on the steering angle of the rear wheels, the speed and direction of rotation of the front wheels is adjusted to prevent excessive tire wear. During steering, the traction speed is reduced in proportion to the steering angle.

Hydraulic system

The independent AC-powered hydraulic pump inputs only the amount of oil needed for the current function, ensuring maximum energy efficiency and longer battery life.

The internal gear hydraulic pump is characterized by reduced pump noise , combined with high pump efficiency. This saves energy and reduces the heat load on the hydraulic system.

The steel hydraulic reservoir provides good heat dissipation for hydraulic oil, ensuring a long service life for hydraulic components.

The return flow line filters oil back into the reservoir with each reverse flow.

Larger particles are filtered directly through a suction filter, preventing them from entering the oil circuit. This ensures a long service life for all hydraulic components.

Upright

Free-view uprights are available in Standard, Hilo and Triplex versions. Interconnected profiles provide high strength and increased safety, even at high lifting heights. Protected inclined rollers minimize deformation and can be easily adjusted without complex disassembly.

The swing cylinders are mounted on spherical bushings; this eliminates any tension on the hydraulic seals, thus increasing the life of the entire cylinder. A lock valve prevents excessive swing speed and accidental operation of the mast.

The forged recess forks ensure long service life and are hook-mounted (FEM), with locking pin, to ensure precise positioning.

A hydraulic shock-absorbing valve reduces jolting of the mast and enables consistently smooth lifting and lowering. A long service life and no damage to the mast are thus guaranteed. The sturdy 6-roller plate is equipped with inclined rollers and adjustable anti-push side rollers, which prevent the plate from blocking when handling loads off the center of gravity.
